Years ago, the CAMRA (the Campaign for Real Ale) Technical Committee recognized that KeyKeg and Real Ale are compatible. Fittingly, KeyKeg is a familiar face during CAMRA beer festivals. This marriage has turned out to work out so well in practice that CAMRA recently announced
its decision to further embrace and promote Real Ale in KeyKegs. A special label will be introduced for Real Ales served from KeyKegs. According to CAMRA, KeyKegs now give venues like sports clubs, bars and restaurants the flexibility to serve Real Ales. KeyKeg is helping to make Real Ale more widely available and to distribute it, in England as well as in export markets.
