ERP Specialist

The organization

Lightweight Containers B.V. is a process-driven organization where agility, teamwork and personal development are key elements. Lightweight Containers develops, produces and markets lightweight kegs for the beverage industry in 10, 20 and 30 liter variants, with the greatest possible benefits for the complete supply chain and the smallest possible impact on the environment.

Lightweight Containers makes optimal use of the latest IT technologies as all workflows are centralized through the Den Helder Head Office. Production facilities are currently based in The Netherlands, Germany and the USA and new facilities are added on a yearly basis.

Lightweight Containers produces kegs under the trademarks KeyKeg and Unikeg and exports worldwide to more than 80 countries.

As part of the IT-team the ERP Specialist will primarily be working in the ERP environment that is linked to other surrounding systems like MES, EDI, WMS, CRM and e-commerce. The ERP Specialist will be a collaborating partner for process improvements and for new applications. For that purpose the ERP Specialist will maintain close contact with various users at our locations and other stakeholders within the organization. You will be working in project teams in which you are able to take a leading role.

The ERP Specialist will be the main contact for questions and requests regarding the ERP environment and will be responsible for identifying needs from both the user side as well as from management and will be able to subsequently translate those needs to concrete assignments. A strong vision and a helicopter view regarding process guidance and optimization is expected from the candidate.

The main responsibilities of this position include:

  • Application management, resolving incidents and dealing with a range of RFC’s regarding ERP and surrounding systems;
  • Design impact analyses;
  • Setting up impact analyses and functional designs;
  • Identifying technical problems and challenges with colleagues – investigating and solving them; 
  • Supporting and managing key-users in order to improve the quality of support;
  • Translating company processes to an all-in package solution;
  • Facilitating and participating in the transfer of knowledge;
  • Document management.

Candidate profile
Are you used to working independently and project-based in a team? Do you feel it is your mission to make implementations a success? If so, and if you meet the following requirements, then we are looking for you!

  • Bachelor / bachelor+ level of thinking and work experience 
  • A minimum of 3 year in implementing ERP systems in several supply chain processes
  • Preferably knowledge of IBS / SAP / Cognos
  • Preferably knowledge of Sugar CRM
  • Excellent knowledge of the English or Dutch language, both written and spoken
  • Customer and results-oriented 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Ability to work project-based
  • Independent, enthusiastic, taking initiative

This position is based at Den Helder, The Netherlands, but you need to be willing to travel to visit other locations of Lightweight Containers as well.
